OVP Plumbing and Gas worked with RJC Building and Kitchen Elements to initially carry out a kitchen renovation in Wanaka, once the owner talked with us it turned into a full house renovation, regardless of us all being Wellington-based companies.

The client was confident with OVP Plumbing and Gas and RJC Building’s high-quality standard of finishing and project management from prior work and referrals, they asked if we could take on the job.

We worked with the amazing kitchen designers and installers at Kitchen Elements. They are a Wellington-based kitchen design and installation company, carrying out works all over New Zealand for their clients and are an amazing team to work with.

We worked with the landscapers and building a brand new sleep out/office in front of a new waterfall.

Due to the location of the job being in Wanaka, Queenstown, RJC Building and OVP Plumbing and worked together and put a project plan in place. We organised all the travel and costs from Wellington, working with top suppliers for materials and fixtures, as well as using client sourced fixtures making this job cost-effective for the client even though our staff were travelling from Wellington. Our project plan ensured the work was completed in a timely manner, while still running our work in Wellington.

We replaced almost all the plumbing and drainage on the property, 2x Electric HWC water heating systems, a new gas main running on LPG bottles, gas fireplace, a new kitchen with dual sinks, freestanding gas hob electric oven, a new main bathroom, a separate toilet room and en-suite, landscaping with a hidden storm-water sump system under the pavers, stormwater on the new separate sleep-out built by RJC Building, a waterfall built into the steps by the old pool, with an outdoor pizza oven fireplace.
